looked after the house. But now they’re all grown up, and today is a beautiful summer's day so she’s dancing the day away and has left all her troubles behind. A dance-floor favourite, written by

and popularised by Sergio Mendes.

Simon is a established songwriter, guitarist and percussionist, with influences including The Cat Empire, Jose Gonzalez, Neil Finn, Paul
Simon, and Brazil’s Carlinhos Brown. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Simon’s five international tours to Europe, Brazil, and Cuba have included European festivals, German national radio, Cuban
national TV,
and pan-American radio. Combining soul-stirring originals, exquisite harmonies and funky world grooves, Simon performs on guitar, vocals and loop pedal, building layers ofsound into a marvellous
fabric that moves your body and your soul. Simon plays solo up to a 6-piece band plus horns and Brazilian percussion. Previous releases include album Aguas Profundas (2023), EP Islands (2020),

Simon ist ein etablierter Songwriter, Gitarrist und Perkussionist, zu dessen Einflüssen The Cat Empire, Jose Gonzalez, Neil Finn, Paul Simon und der Brasilianer Carlinhos Brown gehören. Der im australischen Melbourne lebende Simon war bereits auf fünf internationalen Tourneen in Europa, Brasilien und Kuba zu hören. Simon Hudson präsentierte seine Musik auf Bühnen europäischer Festivals, u.a. dem Rudolstadtfestival 2024, im deutschen und kubanischen Fernsehen sowie im panamerikanischen Rundfunk.
Simon kombiniert mitreißende Eigenkompositionen, exquisite Harmonien und funky World Grooves. Mit Gitarre, Gesang und Loop-Pedal baut er Klangschichten zu einem wunderbaren Gewebe auf, das den Körper und die Seele bewegt. Simon spielt solo bis hin zu einer 6-köpfigen Band plus Bläser und brasilianische Percussion. Zu seinen bisherigen Veröffentlichungen gehören das Album Aguas Profundas (2023), die EP Islands (2020), das über Crowdfunding finanzierte Album Earthman (2016) und die EP Time and Space (2012).
